Taz's Story

Taz is 11. Taz generally performed well in class and is compliant, but was known to be violent and aggressive with peers. His behaviour had resulted in school exclusions and expulsion.

His parents were stressed as he frequently absconded from home when on exclusion or when they tried to discipline him.

Tez often socialised with older young people, some of whom drove cars, and he often headed on the tram to Manchester or Bury. School really wanted to keep him on roll and tried different approaches, but nothing seems to effect change.
